This project is “The World’s Largest Collaborative Artwork” and connects people of all nations and religions worldwide through positive, creative forms of expression – a global symbol for peace, humanity, and collective beauty.
With “Color The World – The World in Art,” we are covering the entire world with millions of artworks. A “digital globe” is divided into more than 20 million “picture frames” (fields). Each of these frames can be designed with individual artworks – such as paintings, photos, quotes, or poems. People donate a small contribution for one picture frame, fill this picture frame with a personal “artwork,” and thus participate in the world’s largest art project. Through this art project, the foundation aims to unite people for humanity, peace, and social commitment. The proceeds from these picture frames will finance social projects worldwide.
During my long journey from Austria to Rome, with every step forward, I felt as if I was entering and leaving a small box, box after box. Each box showed me a new image and conveyed new feelings. Boxes like countless picture frames, making visible what is otherwise overlooked and thereby giving it meaning. Since I originally wanted to spend my life as an artist, which I unfortunately did not do (partly as a hobby), but always had a deep inner connection to it, the project “Color The World – The World in Art” was born in my thoughts. We are covering the entire world with millions of picture frames containing artworks, creating “The World’s Largest Artwork” as a fundraising project.
